Dear all,

First, I'm not very good with English but I will try my best to explain.
Second, I'm very noob about computer things. I hope you can guide me step by step.

I wanted to Install Windows 10, but it seems I cant install it at my system drive. (MBR, GPT error) So, I format my system drive hoping that I can clean Install Windows 10. But then it still failed.

Due to panic, I followed diskpart clean tutorial while installing Windows 10. (convert from MBR, to GPT).

Previously I had created 2 partition from that 1TB drive. ( 500gb for C: ) and another 500gb for H:

I don't know by doing diskpart clean will merge both partition into one.

To make it even worse, I installed Windows 10 at the same drive. I mess up big time. My H: drive is gone. All my important files and works are in there.

Is there any way I can get my files back?

Right now, I'm doing deep scan using Recuva, AOMEI partition Assistant Standard Edition (Free).

Please help me.

Disk clean wipes the whole drive it doesn't join partitions you may need to use partitions recovery software to get it back

It's time to get a data recovery person involved, yesterday, if not today. I mean a data recovery person first and foremost, then, later on, you can get a computer hardware and software technician to help set up your computer the way you want to set it up. I hope others here can guide you step by step because I do not know enough to do that yet in a discussion board.
An earlier poster posted words of gold on a silver platter -- have a data recovery person walk you through recovering the earlier existing partition(s) if such is possible.

Currently I'm using several partitions recovery software. So far i manage to recover 15gb of data out of 1tb. Quick question, I've read by doing scanning over and over will overlap the data, and chances of getting the whole data will be reduce. Is it true?

Thank you. I am thinking to send the drive to a data recovery person soon. I've learn my mistakes.

Well, you've given a mighty effort - that's ok.
"...Quick question, I've read by doing scanning over and over will overlap the data, and chances of getting the whole data will be reduce. Is it true?" -- I don't know, perhaps others can answer that question. :)
