Solved accidently i seted security denied in authenticated user as an admin

accidently i seted securtiy controll denied for all authenticated users as an i am administrator i cant even acces to my c drive & some other drive in which i have been set full control security denied for authenticated users ... its very harasing for me ..please advice me how can i remove the security and i can access the data...its very important data in my laptop...i cant run my laptop in safe mode...because i set permission denied as an all authenticated users.

If you can still load an elevated command prompt you can use subinacl to take ownership of all files including the registry. But PLEASE read the command options before you use this program as it is very powerful and can cause more problems if used wrong.

Also note, that in doing a mass reset of the system files you may change core requirements. You are better off doing a system restore or restore point.

How do I restore security settings to a known working state? <-- This is an example of the problem when on Windows XP.

Another suggestion I can think of would be to boot in to another HDD and take ownership of your other drive's protected OS files so you can manually edit things there, but this will be very tedious and definitely a more lengthy process than system restore or the other suggestions in this thread.

i had gone to 1 repairing centre of laptop there 1 man said to me that there is no way for recover your computer from this trouble he said that if we format c drive than may be can do something but there is no gaurantee for accuracy. so tell me what should i do.. o m big trouble?

I'm having trouble understanding your language, but I will say that there are ways for you to resolve this issue if you're willing to put the patience and effort in.

Reformatting the HDD would be the easy way out, yes, and you may even be able to back up the data on it, but if you're set on doing it the hard way so that you're able to boot back in to your installation then, by some means, it is possible.
