I'm fixing my mother's computer; she is a photographer and this problemis a doozie for me as I've never seen it before. My first thought is a graphics driver problem, my second thought is a virus.
I am able to view the image thumbnail for 2 seconds but then it turns into an image looking something like this: http://i.imgur.com/KFlPCvN.jpg

Has anyone experienced this before?
I am truly confused!

All help, suggestions, or questions are greartly welcomed :)
Thanks,
-t

ALL the photos are now bad when looked at? or just a batch?

With Irfanview or other viewers?

The sample is corrupted.

Do the virus scans.....
