Solved ACER Aspire OEM / deleted recovery partition

Hi, hope you can help.
I removed all partitions so if could install windows 7, this turned out to be a mistake as all the drivers for it are windows 8.1

So I downloaded 8.1 to a USB and booted from that. But I don't have the product key as it's tied to the bios? EHCI something to do with it?

People are saying the laptop is now useless? I can't believe that! There must be a way?

I have never seen a driver not be found for Win7 in tens of thousands of installs we've directly helped with here since beta.

What is the PC make and model, and exactly what drivers were missing after you followed the steps for Clean Reinstall Factory OEM to a driver-complete OS? At the most after all Updates are done there should only be a handful still missing which our driver specialists here can find in no time.

I have installed the LAN and the WIFI Drivers, all installed without errors, but still LAN and WIFI dont work. still exclamation mark on ethernet and nework controller. unknown device

I have installed WINDOWS PRO x64 and put on Service Pack 1. this is so fustrating! any other things to suggest please?

With the help of Maxie, I now have it running windows 7 pro, with all drivers. thank you
