Acer Laptop auto shut downs.

Hi, my 1 month old Acer Aspire 5251-1940 does frequent automatic shutdowns. I doubt virus or malliscious software is the problem, as I have done extensive scans. This started yesterday afternoon.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: AMD V120 (2.2GHz)
Ram: 3GB
HDD: 320GB


Anyone with any suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.
