Hi all
I loved the old SIMPLE interface of Workstation Echo -- really simple to use and on the HELP choice on the menu you could select ABOUT acronis true image and it would give you details like Build number, Licensed to xxxxx etc.
The Interface in True Image Home makes the same mistakes as most software companies -- when you have a decent product why "Dumb it down" so much or put so much bloat in it that it now becomes impossible to find out anything sensible about the product.
It doesn't even give you a message "Task Completed"
and what on earth do you do with this sort of B/S menu (Image 1)
Now look at True Image workstation (only works up to build 7137)
Much simpler and nicer interface . Image 2
Unfortunately this program doesn't currently work in builds later than 7137 - but PLEASE anybody if you are designing software DON'T bloat it -- a nice simple interface that works if MUCH MUCH better
Cheers
