Add PDF Progam Not in the Default Programs

Tried the .reg changes to solve the "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." and it did not resolve mine.

Get that message when trying to click on a picture that will open a .pdf file within an email received in Live Mail.

The Default Program window does not have a program for this type of file, so how do I get one in there?

Have you tried right-clicking the file:

Open-With > Choose Default Program

The problem is inside an email picture. You select the picture and a coupon is to print but none is the response due to that message.

Same thing is happening in Goggle Docs when I view a pdf file all I get is code. Yet the file will download as a open-able pdf file.

Some how it looks like I need to add a pdf program to the Default Program selection.

Can this be done?

Prior to this issue was using Foxit Phantom and was using it when this began. Just installed Adobe Reader just to see if that would make a difference and rebooted to try again. It did not and neither of these are listed in the Default Program listing.

For whatever the reason, no longer having a problem with Goggle Docs.........it opens pdf to view without issue
