I added fonts to Windows 7. They don't seem to be available in XP Mode. How do I get them to work? Thanks!

Go into XP itself and add the fonts there

Duh! Thanks!

I did not realize that the C: drive in XP is "different" than the Win 7 C: drive so I was adding the fonts to the wrong folder.

I am so glad to find this forum! This thread exactly describes the problem I am having. I have Corel Draw running in XP mode and none of the fonts I have installed on my computer are available in XP mode.

From reading this thread, I think I understand correctly that there need to be essentially 2 separate places to store fonts. I found the folder that contains the fonts for Windows 7 -- but I have absolutely no clue where to find the XP font folder discussed here so that I can copy the fonts from Windows 7 to XP font folder.

I can work my way around any software program - but this OS stuff is over my head.

Is anyone willing to help this frustrated Granny find the XP font folder when I can't even find where the XP drive is?

I sure hope to hear from someone,
GrannaSAnne
