I don't see how it would work. If you have something selected in Explorer, then click the SendTo Button, the selection will switch to the button. Context Menu leaves the original item selected. Unless someone does something with mouse hover maybe.

I just edited 1post. And i don't get a word of what you're saying... Are we talking about same thing..?

The SendTo button is originally showed by doing a right clic on something, never seen it anywhere else...

What i want to do is adding some of those entries (which are shortcuts by the way) that i use like every 10mins'

Why don't you describe what you are trying to do instead of guessing what I'm talking about. The Context Menu is what opens when you right click. If you select something in Explorer and right click, it still shows it as selected. If you click on a button the focus moves to the button. That's what I'm talking about as a problem having the SendTo folder as a button.

Maybe if you can elaborate how your scenario would work then some progress may be made.

Ok, as you know the things you find in "SendTo" menu are shortcuts. If you drag some file over them, those file will be sent to the actual shortcut>app+action. So i want to set some of those shortcuts in the windows explorer bar so i just have to drag files on them.

Hmm, couldn't figure out or find a utility that does that. I have a hotkey for doing similar things called Selector
You drag shortcuts onto the list in the window that pops up when you hit the hotkey. Once there are programs in the list you can select an item in Explorer or a filename in an editor, or clipboard contents and hit the hotkey. Choose an item from the list to launch the program with the selected info or file etc..

The trouble with a lot of the Explorer modification utilities is many of them cause explorer to crash or act weird. There are a few that are pretty stable. But most that I've tried are more annoying than convenient.

Not sure if you can use it for what you want, but Barnacle adds a toolbar to any window. You can look on this page to check it out.

Thanks for the link, do you use it? I'm from 2007 i doubt it'll be compatible with x64, bit afraid... But i'll test!

Slrommel has some interesting utilities. But he hasn't updated in some time. It's mostly hotkey stuff. So many may still work. As I mentioned I usually stay away from window modification stuff. The one that seemed to work best for me was QTTabBar2. Bu I stopped using it as I wrote programs to launch many Explorer windows and position them. Drag and drop between tabs always seems to go into some sub-folder. Then I have to hunt for it. It might be just how I use the mouse and not the program. But I find it easier to just use separate windows. For a file manager I like FreeCommander. It has a tool bar where you can put shortcuts and set them up to run with the selected file(s) or folder(s). It's multi-tabbed and can use either function keys or the mouse to move stuff.

It's not 64 bit. But it does have the ability to display the 64 bit windows context menu. So it's still pretty useful.

Barnacle's working but toolbar icon missing. Didn't check if it can use "SendTo" buttons yet.

I think most of the Skrommel software was written for XP. So many may not have been updated for Vista and W7. Not sure what Skrommel is doing now. But it seems he's moved on. But all his stuff has source code. So you may be able to fix the ones you like by asking for help on the AutoHotKey forum.
