Hello
I recently changed the password of my admin account on my computer but when I then tried to log in with the new password it didn't work, i even tried my old and it didn't work either. I also have a guest account which i can access without any password. Is there any way to solve this problem from the guest account, without having to reinstall the whole windows?

By the way, I don't have admin privileges on the guest account and I'm running Windows 7 x32 if someone wonders.

Thx in advance

Since you don't have admin rights on the guest account, you won't be able to reset the admin password. I'm not sure if they are kosher with forum rules to post, but there are plenty of free, easy to use password reset utilities out there.

Just for kicks, try hitting "enter" without a password and see what happens. If not, it sounds like you're not entering your password exactly the way you set it. Try several variations, with and without capitals.

Hey, thanks for the tip. I got it to work by doing a system restore!

Thanks again!
