Adobe not installing

What screen are you at? The login screen? See if you can login to any accounts, using the passwords you know. If you can't, follow the instructions in the link above for resetting the password.

I'm in the main screen of my desktop. I actually can go to control panel and get the local users and Users and see the accounts listed and can go into the Daddy Properties and uncheck the account disabled. Should I do this and then reboot?

Ok, wow, way to increase the blood pressure I'm back in under daddy account. so go back and try the way suggested of getting into the system 32 on cmd or the direction you gave to do this, correct? thanks

ok, went back to the post listed as number 12 and did the typing in of what you listed and got the message the command completed successfully.

Do I still need to follow direction to run the build in administrator and follow this? and I should probably in command prompt do the command active no, right? And should I do the App Locker thing?

Once you get that message "command completed successfully." Log off then see whether you see Administrator account if you see one login to that account then try to install

Got the command to work as active yes, right? but after logging off then on, I do not see an Admin account available. I see my name as the admin person but nothing else to establish a new admin account. Tried to install just for the heck of it and still no go with the same error message number 1625. I looked at the app locker thing but looks a little complicated to try it. Any guidance? Thanks

Hmm .. That is wierd ..

1, Create a New User ( Administrator )
2, Then Login to that Account and Disable the UAC reboot the system
3, Log back
3, Then to install it see whether we would have the same problem ..

I wanted to show you a pic of my manage accounts and the accounts I have on the computer. As you can see the original first account created was Daddy listed as an Administrator a Password Protected. I also have Mike account also listed as administrator. Would like to delete the Mike account. Should I still follow the directions you give on last post? Or delete Mike and create new admin account? Can you have to many admin accounts?

Don't Delete Mike just Login to Mike and Create a New User (Administrator). Then go ahead and disable UAC. You have the set the UAC setting to Never Notify. Then reboot and try to install in the New User account.

Well Jack, created the account in your honor "Jack" and tried again with the UAC settings off and no go, the same error. Now it really is getting frustrating. I really need the program and I am tempted to go back to xp on this computer and know I should have success having installed it on a lap top with xp. This computer is much faster and more guts so thus want adobe on it. But I like win 7 very much so what do you think?

Sounds like all his permissions are screwed up...

It sounds like your permissions has been messed up mate I would suggest you to do a repair install or a clean install of Windows 7.

But before you do that, try to make a new user account (with administrator status) and try installing from that, it might work, but i can't guarantee for it working.

That is what Capt. Jack had him do above (the make the new account part)...looks like me and you are on the same page Sergio
