Advanced Bridging/Bandwidth doubler?

I vaguely remember in a previous version of windows (maybe win98 or xp) that you were able to use bridging or ICS and trick it into combining multiple gateways and essentially double your bandwidth (aka, if you had cable modem and dsl in your area, you could use the bandwidth of both, and windows would automatically be able to shift the load around if one was slower or faster). It might have been through a 3rd party program, but Im almost sure it was a built in feature.

Anyway, is this possible in win7? 3rd party app?
