Solved Advanced system optimizer 3 legit or scam?

I thought it was a scam but what is it in your opinion?


Also I used and still have on my pc:

CCleaner which is legit right?

CCleaner is legit.

I think Advanced System Optimizer is the program I've seen mentioned recently that is very difficult to get rid of. Call that a scam if you want to. Asking you to pay to fix "problems" it finds.

I tend to think that a properly maintained Win 7 installation doesn't need an optimization program. CCleaner is one program that I do find useful, though, so I guess that's an exception to my rule.

Scam might be a bit string but I wouldn't have it on any of my computers if it was free. It combines some utilities that are relatively harmless but of questionable value, a registry cleaner that is dangerous in the hands of the inexperienced, and a memory optimizer that is worse than useless.

I don't consider CCleaner an optimizer, more of a maintenance utility.
