Someone I know got that when it first came out and they didn't like it, it was too confined, the pics I saw of it they had the PSU sitting out on the counter; it looks interesting but at the same time it looks like a dust magnet.

The next case I go to will definitely have air filters. As much as I like this case - that really has been my one true bug bear with it.

Last winter I resorted to creating some 'ghetto' filters (nylon stockings ) but when summer came back - off came the stockings. Just like the ladies.

Now that summer is waving goodbye, I'll be able to reintroduce the stockings again. Again, just like the ladies

I had a low powered air compressor that I used to used to clean/clear non-electrical components, but that literally went up in smoke a few weeks back so as far as pristine conditions go - my computer is not. By the same token, it's certainly not at the level where it affects noise/temps.

Dust filters are a god send. Ever since I've had my CM690 I've had dust free components

It's quite a small case though now in terms of component sizes nowadays, and it does get a bit toasty in there during hot weather, so once I've funded myself a new graphic card. The next upgrade after that might be retiring the old girl and getting a larger case.

Hey Harry, have you seen the "new" 690?

Oh, that does look nice. The inside looks a lot better for cable management and slightly more roomy.

I've got a Smilodon. I've had no problems with it, but this is my first build, so I don't really have a big base to compare it to.

The chances of them making an Nvidia Edition of it are probably slim, but looking at it, I doubt it'd be that hard to mod myself. The side panel is pretty much the same, so all I'd have to do is cut out a side window and take the window off my current case and stick it on, respray the silver strips and take my Nvidia badge off of this case and stick that on the front, and voila

This is my Cooler Master HAF 932. This after I modded it a little bit. I of corse. Painted the inside black. Did some painting on the outside, as you can see. I added some UV lighting. With some UV reactive cables and fans. I guess you can consider this a work in progress. But I wou HIGHLY Recommend this case. It keeps all of my stuff nice and cool. And it looks awesome too. Let me know what you guys think!

The nicest 2 features of the Smilodon are A) Both side panels open all the way and/or can be removed...and B) Airflow is excellent...Q6600 never gets above 41C even when beatin the snot out of it.

BigBlitz, I just bought a new Haf 932 today. Took me hours to move everything over, and get it all ready.

Then I messed something up and it wouldn't boot, which took me like 2 hours to fix. Of course, I messed up my OS, so I am reinstalling now.

However, I LOVE the case. It is amazing. The hard drive bays are the best thing I have ever seen, SO much better than my Antec 1200 (which was awesome, but drove me crazy). The only mod I have in mind for now is filters for the fans. I was thinking of using a semi-thick fabric as a filter, anyone have any other ideas?
