Solved After System Repair, my PC won't even POST.

Yes, I rechecked the power cables several times and made sure they are plugged in in the right order on the motherboard. Didn't work. Then I went with ye olde "hit-it-till-it-works" technique and after just tapping the case on the top once it turns on now everytime. But now it won't boot into windows anymore :shock: . It just stays there at the Windows Loading Screen.

You had/have a short somewhere, perhaps in the Power Button as I suggested.

But since it now powers on consistently and the issue is WIndows booting, proceed with steps for when Windows 7 fails to boot
