Solved All Audio Services have disappeared, No audio devices visible at all?

Hello everyone,I'm facing a particular issue with audio on my computer.Essentially, all audio functionality has ceased. This means that none of the audio services are operational, and the 'Audioserv' has vanished from the list of services. Attempting to initiate the Endpoint Builder service results in an error. Moreover, when I access the sound settings by right-clicking the volume icon on the taskbar, the interface appears devoid of any internal data, displaying neither playback nor recording devices.I've sought assistance from various sources, which typically advise using the troubleshooter, starting certain services, and verifying administrative privileges, among other suggestions. Despite reviewing over 15 YouTube tutorials and consulting 35 websites, the issue persists, leading me to seek guidance from this forum in hopes of further assistance.Ideally, I would prefer a default registry file that could reset all services to their default configurations with a simple double-click. However, I am uncertain of its feasibility. While numerous websites outline the default settings for all services, manually adjusting each one is impractical.

I thank you in advance for all help and assistance given.

Hi

i take it your running a desktop, so how are your audio devices attached, if your routing it thru the Asmedia hub looks like the driver has a problem

Axiom speakers?? whats showing in the dashboard monitor
check the for the latest drivers
M-Audio
Intel
Nvidea

As a further system set-up check you could run KB947821, could take a while
from the MS catalogue usually the last entry dated 2014 -- BUT you appear to be running a server version if im reading correctly

note not a fan of speed-up utilities see you have 2
if you are using Flash i'd remove it

for Endpoint set-up entries

Many of my services gave me this dialogue when I tried to set them to either Automatic or Manual; both gave me the same pop-up. This made me think that something important had been added to my system as a whole, and I need someone to help me figure out what it might be. I was looking through the list of services to switch between Automatic and Manual.Thank you all in advance for your assistance.

A lot of these services give me the same error# type?

what has happened to your audio endpointbuider and the service log on should be local service for windows audio

windows-audio.jpg

do you have a restore point or a backup image to a time before the problem started ?

If not, then you could try a repair install

Hi
that missing path is "spawned" from the Windows Media Features option

via
Programs/Features >> Turn features on/off (top left) >> Media Features (enable all 3 components)
likely require a reboot

I looked over your services settings and there pretty much the same as mine....so no worries there

Thank you for your help. I have just changed that to Local Services now.
Hope it all works, haven't seen any change as yet? Maybe a restart..

Hi, mate.
Thank you for taking out time to help me. Much appreciated.

Now, I don't understand what you mean, by the above? A screenshot perhaps may guide me a bit better, please.

Merci...

Also not sure why this AudioEndpoint Service won't startup anymore?
Anybody? Any clues, please?

Thanking you all in advance.

Please tell me what you are trying to say with this?
What needs to be done and how I go about doing it are both unclear to me.

Are you proposing to make the following registry edit?

Whatever the case, thank you for your assistance. Thank you.

On the contrary, I am very thankful and plus I have not been to the forums as often as I ought to have, and I also failed to notice that in your previous post. Apologies.
