Is there a way to allow the media center to re-record an episode within a series without deleting the entire history? It seems one can only clear the entire history. If one episode was badly captured, allowing the program to re-record it seems to be a problem.
I would be willing to manually modify media center files.

I don't think so. You'd need film editing software for doing that. But, I've been wrong before. LOL

How about it Kari...what say you?

I don't understand why you can't just navigate the Guide to any re-airing of that problem episode from your series, and push the OK button on the remote to schedule a manual recording from that cell... i.e. to re-record the problem episode outside of its normal "series" scheduled recording.

Unfortunately, the desired episode may not be repeated for months and then may be repeated in the middle of the night. Letting a computer find it is the best way if it can be done.
Back to the original problem of selective history deletions.
