As I type this I am using Safari as this is the only browser that loads any web pages. When I try to load a web page in ANY other browser it's just a white screen, it tries to connect, and gives me the "This webpage is not available" page. The only one that works aside from Safari is the Steam in-game browser, which is weird. Other devices on my network works fine so it's not my internet. I actually connected my PC straight to my modem, and the problem was still there. I tried to connect the computer to my Wifi, and the problem was still there. So it can't be anything hardware related. It has to be something software related, but I have no idea what it could be. Maybe some malware that killed almost all my browser? No idea. I think the problem occurred a few days ago, when I played around with a few VPNs. They are all deleted now though.

Any help would be freaking awesome. I hate Safari.

Hello and welcome PM now you say you think it might be malware related so what scans have you done? If none except your on board security then try these

Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer

SUPERAntiSpyware | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware!

AdwCleaner Download < download from bleeping computer.

I have tried all of those. They all tell me that there's no problem. I really don't want to reinstall windows.

PM Now I don't know much about VPN's or have even been that interested to find out. But I have had a cursory look and what I can gather one has to download some sort of software for this to be used? If so why not uninstall it and see what happens.?

Within Chrome if you navigate to settings and "Show advanced settings" - Click on "Change Proxy Settings" within the network sub-menu and then "LAN Settings" check that the browsers are not pointing to a hi-jacking proxy. If you do not have a proxy configuration within your network setup the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" should not be ticked and also "Automatically detect settings" should be ticked.

Let me know how it goes. If there is something within that field just delete it and untick the box.
