Hello,

Im currently using a laptop that has disabled the use of .exe installers making it difficult to do much on here. Although I can transfer files over via a home network or flash drive. I have tried installing multiple games, most work but some dont as they require directX. Since I cannot use an exe to install the directX drivers is there any way to install the drivers to a folder on my main pc and then transfer that over to my laptop?

Why not fix the issue running exe files and solve all your problems in one go or is there some reason not to do this ?

Last time I ran into this problem was when I was using a "work" laptop -- and the administrators had disabled that on purpose -- to prevent folks installing unauthorized stuff.

If this is indeed, a work laptop -- then we can not help you because the policies here forbid us from telling you how to work around such limitations.
