hello! I have recently run into a Blue Screen error while playing some BF:BC2. So far this is the only game that I have played that contains this error. I play games that are as strenuous as Battlefield but have no problems in them. I have all the files that are needed to assess the situation.

  • I have a 64 bit Version of Windows 7 Home Premium
  • I did a fresh format about 6 months ago.
  • The computer itself is about one year old.
The Specifications are:

  • Intel Core i7 930 2.80 GHz
  • 12 GB Corsair XM3 1600 MHz
  • nVidia 460 GTX (2 in SLI)
  • 1k Watt Corsair gold rated PSU
  • Gigabyte X58A-UD3R motherboard
  • Onboard sound
  • 32' LG 1080p LCD

The BSOD error is:

0x00000124

Included in the post are the zip files that were asked for in the sticky. Thanks for reading! Please get back to me!

PS: I'm on an admin account (only one on my system) and I can't add the dump file because it's forbidden by Windows. If you need it for diagnostics please tell me how to get it on here lol. Thanks again!

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.

You can read more on this error and what to try here... Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lockup-debug-how/35349-stop-0x124-what-means-what-try.html
