Solved AMD drivers not installing

I have been having problems with my USB ports. Windows would shut them down and give error 43. I decided it was probably a driver problem, so I installed the chipset drivers from AMD. Sure enough, they were not the current version. However, on the AMD USB 3.0 Host Controller and the AMD SATA controller it says the installation failed and simply says "Driver Install: the installation failed". Computer: HP Pavilion g6-2218nr Notebook PC
OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

Unfortunatley that link is not working and searching hP support and drivers does not find that model please check it again and re-post the model of notebook

That model is not found on hp site see if you can go to support and drivers and input your model and download the drivers from their for your chipset they will have the latest drivers and my have AMD sata controller also.

The site is USA Software & Driver Downloads HP Pavilion g6-2218nr Notebook PC | HP® Support but there is no link to the chipset drivers I would suggest downloading the HP software framework and letting that find the driver for you

I tried that and the USB ports are on again, but I'm not sure if it worked or not. The USB ports have been off and on so I can't tell
