An annoyance in FireFox History

I have an issue that annoys me only for the fact that I can't understand it.

In my FF history I only want it kept for two weeks,no biggy.
I know FF only keeps history for ninety days then starts to dump it but when I set my history to be kept for fourteen days nothing happens,I still have ninety days worth of history.

What am I missing here? I always set my history to fourteen days,so this is not a new setting.

FF version 3.5.7

Delete the history 1st and from then on it will keep any new history for 14 days then dumb them..

If you want to make sure that your history gets deleted every 14 days do the following:

In the address bar type: about:config

Click on: I'll be careful, I promise

In filter, type: History

Double click on: browser.history_expire_days_min

In integer value enter: 14 days (or however many you choose)

Click: okay

That should sort it out for you.

Just did the about:config thing and I already had it set to fourteen days.I thought I had set it there and I was correct,that is why I can't figure it out.
But I have deleted all history so now maybe it might just keep it for two weeks as I set it.
