An Update on Windows TCP AutoTuningLevel

I still can not get good results changing the NIC to 1 Gbps vs 100 Mbps, I did notice the Negotiated Link Speed is not supported with this NIC, but I`ve set it to 1000 Mbps Full Duplex and it`s still slower then using 100 Mbps. I`m perplexed.

I believe this is all that is needed to enter

netsh interface tcp set heuristics disabled

If you want it more like win-8 & 10 which is shown on the right and 7 on the left here you can use Callender's link to speednet or what ever it was on page 1

My issue seems to have been fixed with a $5 RJ45 coupler from Home Depot. The Tripp Lite coupler (it`s actually an inline surge protector, made in 2000) I was using to connect 2 sections of Cat5e could not handle 1000 Mbps

Home Depot has a 100 ft piece of Cat5e for $25, I`ll grab it when I have some extra money burning a whole in my pocket
