anti-virus programs running together

hello does anyone know if u can combine bitdefender ( supposedly really high on the list of anti-virus programs) with malwareBytes malware? thank you

There's seems to be some issues about Malwarebytes and BitDefender playing nice together. It seems that the latest free version of BitDefender apparently does a forced uninstall of Malwarebytes Pro and it doesn't have a way to add Malwarebytes Pro to the BitDefender exclusion list. Presumably this is because Malwarebytes Pro does real-time scanning. If you're using the free version of Malwarebytes (without real-time scanning) there probably won't be any issues. EDIT: I just found an official BitDefender tech support statement that BitDefender 2013 will work with the free Malwarebytes (without real-time scanning.) See post # 7 from this BitDefender forum thread.
