Solved Any good TV series?

I just wondered if you can put ideas forward for some good TV series i could watch?

I know 'good' depends on the person but some examples i have liked so far...

Friends (All Seasons)
How i Met Your Mother (All Seasons) {Looking forward for the next season}
Chuck (All Seasons) {Looking forward for the next season}

My favorite sitcom of all time is Cheers, and although I have many episodes taped from my VCR, I am tempted to buy some of the seasons on DVD.

From what I have seen of Dexter it was good.
They ran it on regular TV over here during the writers strike a few years back. We saw Season 1 I beleive.
Weird but good.

CSI all of them. Original is the best.

NCIS original. NCIS LA is okay.

Law and Order- Original the best. 10-12 seasons it was on.
Law and Order- Criminal Intent is good.
L and O-SVU is okay.

Numbers was good. Very good ensemble cast.

Chuck, as you've said is great. Next season is coming out next month I think so you won't have to wait too long. I also watch Hawaii Five-0, Merlin (which isn't actually that bad) and Glee (my sister somehow got me into it).

Big Bang Theory - Very good, but in the process of jumping the shark.

The Mentalist - Good police procedural with a twist.

I really like the quiz shows, but they don't do them here in the US.

Poldark, The Onedin Line, The Pallisers, The Brothers, Tenko, The Duchess of Duke Street, Upstairs Downstairs, The Forsyte Saga.

These are classics, and I know that they're showing my age, but I for one would like to see these serials again. In some ways, they were far better than ones of today.

LOVED those! PBS ran a new mini-series of Upstairs Downstairs last year, which will probably be repeated when the 2nd half of the new Upstairs Downstairs will be broadcast this year!

Life on Mars (both US and UK versions are great)
The IT Crowd (UK sitcom based on a 4 team IT department)

I've been watching a lot of documentary type shows lately, Mega Builders, Mega Ships, Air Crash Investigations, Ancient Aliens, The Universe, Wonders of the Solar System, Wonders of the Universe, Cosmos, etc...
