Sounds great. Maybe you should start an ejuice store. Custom blends. That would be cool and I bet a lot of business would come your way. heck, I would buy from you. From what you said it actually costs you and what you could sell them for, I bet you could turn a hobby into a profitable business. That worked for Steve Jobs. Just hopefully, you wouldn't be as big an AH as he was.

I'm sure there would be. It could be worth it though. There seems to be a ton of red tape on most anything you want to do now days. When I was a kid, my Grandfather used to take me to games of a Minor League Baseball team we had here. There was always a guy who sold Hot Dogs, and Peanuts outside the game. he got to be on a first name basis with us. When we went to the game, he was the first person I wanted to see. I imagine it would be impossible for him to do that today. That's really a shamed. He was a nice guy and we really liked and appreciated him. We just knew him as 'Peanut'. He's always give me an extra bag of peanuts. Back then a bag of peanuts was about 10 cents. My Grandfather didn't know that I knew, but he always gave him an extra couple of dollars when he paid. I knew, but never said anything. There's a lot more to that story, but that's for another time and place. But, it's a shame that it couldn't happen today.

I just noticed a shop nearby does 10ml bottles for £3. 11 or 18 strength. Seems like good value. Only a handful of flavors, I suppose they just stock the most popular. Clove, I think was one. No idea how that could be popular, cloves taste disgusting.

That seems a decent price. I pay about $5-$6 for a 12ML bottle. How good it is, depends on the quality of ingredients. But, the price seem about right.

essenbe, things have changed a lot. Now days that wouldn't be allowed for many reasons we probably shouldn't get into but, I miss the good old days when things were simpler, and the mom and pop stores myself. So few left.
I remember as kid a local little candy store. The little old lady would always give us kids a piece of candy or something small even though we had no money. As we got older, and had a little money, we always made a point to stop and see her and buy something from her when we could.
I remember that.
These big stores just don't that kinda stuff.




$6-$10 seems to be about right for a 10-15ml bottle. They can get to around $15 too, but thats a bit pricey and has to be very good to justify it IMHO.

I agree on the cloves, but I feel the same way about black licorice and absolutely loved the Fairy Blood juice. Its weird what tastes good as a vapor, yet may not be something you would like otherwise. If you can taste it, have them let you try a sample

We have a little Vape Lounge close by and I like to go in and try things and just talk with them. They will mix you a juice too right there and whatever blend, nic level, and whatever mix of flavors you want.
But they will only let you sample stuff they stock as a standard flavor.

I typically hang out a bit and buy a bottle or two before I leave. I feel obligated LOL. Nice bunch of guys though and a wealth of information on all types of hardware.

Very good going Derek, I know you posted a while ago now. My PC has been offline for the weekend so I have not had chance to reply to this thread in detail. How is it going now? Still good I hope?

Things are still going very well for me. I will be 3 weeks on Friday. No way I will be going back to cigarettes now.

I have considered making my own juices and watched a few guides but thanks for your detailed info Wishmaster. I will certainly read that again if I do decide to make my own. I did some calculations and reckon if I made my own it would cost around 40p per 10ml. At present the cheapest bottle I have bought was £3.33p so a massive saving once more! But right now I just want to keep trying some flavors to decide what's my bag.

I was running low so was forced to buy a bottle from the local petrol station about an hour ago. This is the exact stuff - Berry Blast- 10ml I have to say it's actually very nice and I am enjoying it. I put it in an iclear 16 tank/atomizer/clearomizer/whatever the hell you call them and it's giving some nice flavor. Running it at 4.2v.

Glad you have acquired the repulse for cigarettes. I hope you get the same condition for the smoke from them also.
Are you going to overclock that thing or not ? Push it man !

I have never smoked in my life so I have no idea how hard it is to stop.

I commend everyone who is in the process of giving them up for good.

Don't stop now. If you get the urge to give up quitting, stop and think of how much better you can breath now and how much better your lungs feel.

I hope there will be other members who see this thread and read the info. in it and join you in this great venture.

Oh yeah, I'm just about 3 days without a cigarette so far, just using these little blu cartridges. My Inferno should be here in a few days.

Trolling the local interwebz for any kind of local shops and there seems to be a popular one a few miles away, I'll go have a look around there tomorrow or the next day.

I'm still carrying on, more power to all of us! A lot of good info and support in this thread, I never thought I would get this far without a cigarette...

Thanks Steve, I'll check those out. I am hoping that local shop will have some taste testing like Jessie was talking about. At this point I have no idea yet what I'm looking for in a juice. When I get the inferno then I can start testing some juices.

I think you will be happy with it. I know I like mine, I just want to be able to adjust voltages, I think it may help me. I'm not doing nearly as well as you. That's why I'm so impressed with your accomplishments, But, I'm not giving up. I am smoking less though, which can't do anything but help.

As long as you are cutting down Steve, you're heading in the right direction.

Those Lavatubes are pretty nice. They only thing I didn't like about mine was it's a bit bulky. At least for me.
That may actually be a plus for some though.

But in that price range, there's a lot of options for a variable. Not that the Lavatube is bad. It will certainly deliver. I'm just saying in that price range you have a lot of good options to choose from.
But the Lava Kits will have the lava Tube, a carrying case, a charger, 1 18650 battery, a battery case, and a bottle of EJuice.
Pretty good deal. Especially considering they not only do variable Voltage, but can switch to variable wattage too. Many will only do Variable Voltage. (Although its really all the same thing when it gets right down to it)




essenbe, have you tried any other blends yet that help?
If your having issues inhaling still, Im not sure a variable will help you much. It may, but I think it may make it worse. because, the inferno (and most that have no adjustments) output 3.7v.
With a variable you can go a little below that but not alot. Its mostly going up which increase vapor production, and to an extent heat.
I could be wrong or misunderstanding too though.

Yeah, I'm still on the upswing on the learning curve of these Jessie, I'm going to check out that shop tomorrow and just pick their brains too, and see what they have to offer as far as juices.

I should just wait till my inferno gets here then go over there actually.

Yea, and like I said it could be a pro to some but for me it was a negative. Its also fatter in the hand.

Heres a pic of my Provari next to the LavaTube for comparison.
The picture may be a little deceiving. Keep in mind the Kayfun Tank on the Provari makes it look Bigger than it is and the LavaTube has a Dripper on it right now, and the dripper is ony 1.5" tall. So with a regular tank or Carto on the Lavatub eit'll be a bit taller.
Now for me, I like the tube mods that are like the Provari. Small in the hand with some heft to them.
The LavaTube, believe it or not, is about half the weight of the Provari.


For me the smaller mods just feel better in the hand. And, easier to put in your pocket.

But, for those with bigger hands the LavaTube very well may be ideal.
Don't go by these pics too much though. Go look at a LavaTube and hold one yourself. You may find its perfect for you. Obviously we all wont agree on what size feels best in the hand to us.
The LT is a good unit so don't take me wrong here. I'm not bashing it. It performs admirably. It just wasn't for me, mainly due to its size.

--- Oh and BTW, they are both actually using the same size 18650 batteries right now in this pic. The Provari has a bottom end cap extender which adds 1/2 inch to its length. It can also be a 1/2 shorter with the regular end cap and smaller battery.
The LT only uses 18650s. So it is what it is in regards to size.

I wish I still had my Inferno for size comparison but I gave it to my son.

Pretty much. That and price is a lot of the reason I went with the inferno, which works pretty well. But, I would still like to try an adjustable voltage one, and have one that is supposed to be on the way.
