Anyone else having acceleration issues in Lego games?
I've got two Lego games for PC, one is Lego Batman 2, and the other is Lego Marvel Super Heroes. I've had other Lego games on consoles in the past and they did not have this problem that I can recall. It's an issue that seems to be limited to PC, and as far as I know, only the two most recent comic book games. [The only two I own on PC.]

Both of them have the same issue. When running forward it takes a long time for the characters to accelerate. They jog slowly until the run animation kicks in. Moving to the left, right, or back doesn't have this problem, just moving forward.

Once accelerated any turning, even slight correction, kills all momentum and the character slows and has to spend a while in a slow jog to speed up again. The problem persists whether flying or on foot. Vehicles don't have this issue because of the break and gas controls. It's just movement with the analogue stick that does this.

This issue pretty much makes completing the races impossible to do. It also makes traveling tedious even with flying characters and turns doing collection missions and side missions into a chore.

I use an Xbox 360 controller for Windows to play. I've got two and both behave the same way. They work fine in all my other games so it's not my hardware.

I'm wondering if any other players are having this issue with Lego games, be it these two titles or other ones in the series? Is it just bad game design, horrible porting, or just some weird bug that only I'm seeing for some reason?
