So, I've tried three times now to place an order for my new i7 build from newegg. All three times paypal has declined the payment. After calling my card company, the payment was authorized all three times. I've now spent an hour and half on the phone with newegg, paypal and discover in a conference call. Each is pointing the finger at the other, since I have the authorization codes it is looking like paypal is the one dropping the ball.
I would pay directly with my card, but Newegg is having processing issues with Discover at the moment. I thought that paypal would act as a third party in the transaction and allow me to pay with a discover card. Apparently I should have gone with my gut and stayed away from newegg.
Thoughts?
