We can probably get an idea from VEW. Download VEW by Vino Rosso http://images.malwareremoval.com/vino/VEW.exe
and save it to your desktop

Double click it to start it Note: If running Windows Vista or Windows 7 you will need to right click the file and select Run as administrator and click Continue or Allow at the User Account Control Prompt.

Click the check boxes next to Application and System located under Select log to query on the upper left

Under Select type to list on the right click the boxes next to Error and Warning Note: If running Windows Vista or Windows 7 also click the box next to Critical (not XP).

Under Number or date of events select Number of events and type 20 in the box next to 1 to 20 and click Run

Once it finishes it will display a log file in notepad
Please copy and paste its entire contents into your next reply

Hiyya Jaycee can't get tis VINO to go - see pics am I doing something wrong? in the first instance because the notepad pic shows as is and if I click Yes it leaves me with a cursor blinking the notepad

Yes Jaycee but I ran it form downloads I'll try again.

Just tried it from the http bar and WOT wert mad with red and yellow circles!

Ok Jaycee I'll disable WOT and try again.

No Jaycee it just keps telling meit can't find the VEM text file and do I want to create one.

Don't want to butt in, but John, do you have Everything installed (if not, it's a great search, and will find what windows search will not)? If so, search for VEW.txt. Perhaps it isn't being created in C:\ like it should?

Hum I am of course an idiot I know but I didn't know Everything even existed.

I have installed it and tried to run VEW - same result however the Everything comes up with stuff from last November to date and it's on my old drive and currently my C: is the new SSD so it seems that the report is listing just about everything on the old drive.

Am really quite confused now as to where I am - perhaps disconnecting the old drive E: might make a difference?

Disconnected E: - C: (SSD) now the only drive hooked up - still the same result.

Process click on the link
It downloads
I click run on the downloaded link
The VEW screen opens
I fill it in as per instructions
Hit run (no admin requests)
Blank result!

Just to confirm. Download VEW to desktop. Right click VEW and choose Run as administrator. Click suggested boxes, and click on run. It may not be the issue, but worth a try. A Guy

P.S. Everything was just to see if you could find the VEW.txt somewhere. But it IS a great program.

Hello Jaycee as you have probably now made the discovery I am a complete no brainer with some of the in depth terms and if you mean a proxy service I use a set site for my net connections then I have noidea.

I do remember a while ago just of of curiosity seeing what my ISP number came up and I found that it changed and was told that my traffic is routed through different servers. Now I don't understand this at all I just thought I paid my money and the provider just hooked me up but then it comes from different locations in Sydney.

Is that what you mean?

I have always had a few issues with Adobe i that my Kaspersky picks it to pieces and find vulnerabilities all the time - not so much lately but in the past it caused me some concern.

I just joined today so this is my first ever reply.& i guess you sorted your Bundleinstaller.somoto problem out by now. But if you are still unsure where it came from i can tell you i had the same problem fortunatly AVG picked it up straight away but i got it from Free you tube downloaderinstaller.exe i got it on 15th feb through downloading that software from a popular High Street PC retailer,Probably THE most popular,i dont know if i can say their name,but it is still available there for free download.

Hiyya Steve and welcome - yes mate I got it sorted and yeah Steve best steer clear of names like that unless you have a legitimate problem like flogging you bad gear, terrible warranties and such - even so best left alone eh?
