Application error 0xc0000005 can't open any exe files

I can not open any exe file I get application error 0xc0000005, application failed to start correctly.

Happened after I did windows update. I searched for several of the KB updates as suggested but none of them were listed.
I also tried the changing the root exe as suggested no luck their either.
I was able to restore to before the updates but as soon as updates were reinstalled same problem.
PC hasn't been used since June so several updates are running through.
Running windows 7 32bit.
Any ideas on which update is causing the error?

Hello Brody, and welcome to Seven Forums.

I would recommend to restore back to before the updates were installed and you had this issue, then only install one update at a time and test to see if you have this issue afterwards. This way you will be able to narrow down to which update you last installed before this issue happens. :)
