Hey everyone,
I'm running a basic Samsung laptop on W7 home premium (64bit), but for about a month now, it won't open any .exe files. I'll click to launch the program, and then I get the "Are you sure you'd wish to open this file?". After I click 'yes', it'll just stay stuck on a frozen screen; it doesn't go completely black, but it does get darker if that makes sense. It's also been very laggy and freezes when I try to have even two tabs open in Chrome. It also takes way long then it should while booting up now.
I used Avira, Revo Uninstall, and adwcleaner while in Safety Mode, and that did remove a significant amount of malware programs (this is a shared computer and the others are reckless about downloading things), but this is the biggest issue and I can't seem to fix it.
I'm not sure if I'm just overlooking some small thing, but I'd appreciate any help. Thanks
