Solved Application Icon Missing

Ever since I removed the shortcut for Steam and Skype from my desktop, everytime I launch them, the icon is missing. It just shows a white page thing.

If I go to the properties though it shows the icon in the properties but not outside of it.

How do I get the icon back?
