Hello,

The issue I'm having is small, but I still would like it fixed because it's a small pet peeve of mine.

When I move my applications around the window disappears with a gray box around it, until I drop it. I've attached an image of the problem, because it's easier to show than explain.

Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you for your time

Hello Xed,

In Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings ....
See if you have "Show window contents while dragging" checked.
If it is not checked, check it and see if that fixes the issue.

Thank you David for your response. I went to settings and checked it out. When I went into advanced it showed that it was checked, but I unchecked it and then rechecked it and it resolved my issue. Thank you for your time! :)

*UPDATE*
While the settings do work, every time I restart my computer the settings get unchecked and I have to re-apply them. Any way to fix this? Again, thank you for your help.

What real-time Anti Virus, Anti Malware, and Security programs do you use?
If the problem started recently, do you have a restore point from before the problem started?

Some things you could try:
Test if it's something corrupt in your account profile:
- Create a new user account and see if the settings you choose stick for that account.
- If the new account has the same issue, you can delete the account...

Test if it's caused by an application conflict with a clean startup:

Okay, I went through with the trouble shooting and it was my mouse's drivers. I removed them and the problem is resolved. I'll keep forum open for a couple days to see if problem comes back, but most likely they wont. Thanks for your help David!
