Hi, this issue has been bugging me for a while now. I'd like to stop programs from stealing focus when I'm playing an online game for instance. As an example, if i'm printing off some photo's and the printer runs out of paper, and i'm playing FIFA, the FIFA screen will minimize and i get a pop-up telling me the printer needs paper. Very annoying.

So is there any way i can stop this from happening?

Not globally :/

You may be able to go to each offending app as they happen and tell it to turn off notifications though... But it would likely be all or nothing, you probably DO want them when your not playing a game so turning them off may or may not be better :/

One of the reasons why I turn off automatic updating on all my machines. I've had them shut down and reboot in the middle of a 24 hour remote backup session before :(
