I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but it appears that .NET crashes at the same time as my APPSTART error for Inventor. Right clicking and running as administrator is not working. That was one of the first things I tried.

go to run and type "eventvwr" and let me know any application error is pointing to .NET or APPSTART

AutoCAD is a .NET application so when it crash it will point to .NET. This is what you could try. Use REVO uninstaller the Free edition and use the Hunter Mode and cleanup it up completely. Enable the build-in administrator account Then reboot the System. Login the Administrator.

Start > CMD > Right Click and Run as administrator > SFC /SCANNOW

See whether it finds any problem if it comes fine then reinstall it.

Good Luck,
Captain

If you are running the default account in 7, you are the administrator, when you accept the UAC prompt and are elevated.

I guess its an issue with the User profile so you could create a New Windows Profile and transfer your setting to that account. That should work.

Good Luck,
Captain

What's the best tutorial for that? And can I copy to the hidden administrator profile?
