hello,
purchasing a corsair h70 liquid cooler.
would it be worth the extra 20 bucks for arctic silver 9+cleaning kit over the 'stock' thermal grease?

I recently bought a new CPU fan/cooler and it came with the thermal paste already applied to it. I found that simply using this "stock" paste was way easier than cleaning it off and applying another one. Previously, I had to apply a thermal paste when I had removed the old fan and had to put it back (I was moving the PC innards to a new case and followed the manual; in reality I did not need to remove that cooler). The new paste (I got Noctua NT-H1) did not really improve the CPU temperatures, maybe a little, but certainly not worth the trouble.
