Do you mean natively?

The default WMP is x86 , although the x64 version can be set as default.

I believe that media centre runs x64 natively.

The only real limitation of 64-bit WMP 12 is ensuring that you have all the right 64-bit codecs installed. Shark's 007 64-bit Codec Pack should take care of this.
