True, but the only similar thing is that it's a problem with wireless. There is nothing to try for me because it's a totally different issue.

Dear Customer,

Unfortunatly it is not supported for Windows 7 and therefor we have no drivers availlable.

Regards,

ASUS TSD

Hello, my name is ASUS and i live in the stoneage. I'm too effing dumb to make Windows 7 drivers. Win7 is too complicated for me.
YOU GO ASUS!
BTW! Had to re-do format c and i f**ked up my PC and for what?! PC crashed in the middle of format c. It freezes the BIOS loading. I'm running second HDD with XP right now. Funny how XP saves the day all the time when i brake win7.
It detects the hard drive and says it's OK and does not go any further. Num lock works so it's not crashed. Pressing DEL does nothing. Formated the drive at friends house by making it a slave drive but still can't do nothing. Will even freeze BIOS when it's a slave in my PC. Have tryed removing the BIOS battery. Quess i will remove the battery and all card for overnight. See ya in about 8 hours.

PROBLEM SOLVED!
I kid you not i got it working!!! After a new format c i installed the wifi cards drivers under device manager first thing. No windows updates and no drivers before that. Working like a charm! Fingers crossed it won't change after the windows updates.

Great!!!! Did you use the driver that came with Windows update or one you downloaded yourself? And what version of the driver did you use?

Another thing i want to know now if it keeps working after updates and if you can get the sound driver to work as well. When i installed the sound driver i took the original Windows XP driver so i could use the Xear3D software. That's because i had an 5.1 surround set i used but if you can get that working a different way i really appreciate if you can let me know.

For now: nice work!!!!!!! :D

Just went straight to device manager after format c and used the "update driver..." button. The driver is still the good old Marvell 2.7.1.10 as mentioned in the first post. So basicly nothing changed. I quess windows got tired of formating and gave in.
I installed the audio drivers after the wifi card started working and now i took the time to install all windows updates.
I had a back up plan tho.. maybe this will beat even the format c. Download the XP wifi card drivers and install them manually with XP compatible mode. Just uninstall the old ones first under device manager. Did this to my friends PC when win7 didn't find automaticly any audio card drivers. Luckily he had his old XP drivers CD.
I'm quessing i'm using XP drivers right now because as ASUS stated, they don't have any win7 drivers for it.
ASUS - what a tool:zip:

Victory (a little)

Finally reinstalled after every windows installation died with bluescreens. And yes it works. If you just install the wireless before the sound it works!!!

But..... i wanted to connect to my wireless i found out that it doesn't support WPA.... d'oh. Oh well, back to WEP.
