Asus UL80JT BSOD Wireless Related

Hello,
I have a (brand) new Asus UL80JT notebook and am immediately having problems. When I launch an internet based game, the game almost always immediately disconnects, and, as it is doing so, triggers a BSOD on the notebook. I *feel* as if this is related to the driver for the network adapter (listed as an Atheros AR5B95) although I have tried updating the driver from Asus' website and from the adapter's manufacturer without any success.

I have already disabled the power saving option for the wireless adapter.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and I attached the bsod report to this post. Please let me know if there is any additional information that can help! If I can't figure this out quickly, I'm going to have to return the laptop.

When the program disconnects, I can see in the taskbar that I have lost the WLAN. I'm using a router with DD-WRT and have no connection issues from any other computers or devices in the building. The BSOD does not occur every time, but I assume it's a clue

These were caused by a pool corruption either the memory is bad driver or bad ram. Lets test the ram first

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.


Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot. Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

got this from both the most recent dumps.
It's either bad memory, or a outdated driver.
If you give me some time I'll edit back this post with any noticeably out of date drivers.

...actually after spending a few minutes with this, I think I'm just going to suggest going to asus's website and checking for updated drivers for your system. Almost all of them seem to be zero hour with the exception of the nvidia drivers, which are still two updates behind.
