Hi

I have an ASUS Zenbook UX21E, 128SSD, 4GB RAM, running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits.

I'm having a problem with Windows crashing and rebooting after waking up from sleep or hibernation. It manages to show the welcome screen (whre you put your password) but after a few seconds it reboots.

i'm attaching the Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 folder & the PERFMON HTML files. My System Health Report file is in Spanish, I hope it is still usefull.

Further information:
- Windows OEM versión, original installation.
- I have uninstalled all ASUS utilities related to power management
- The computer is from january 2011.

Thanks!

Run a full system scan with Malwarebytes.
Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download

The following drivers need to be updated:

Code:
ASMMAP64.sys Thu Jul 02 19:13:26 2009
These drivers can be found by searching them in Google and then finding the associated software or driver. Finally, find the latest version of this driver or software and download and install it. Some of the drivers may also be found here (if the driver says 'Windows Update' simply make sure all Windows Updates are installed).

You should also update any other drivers you can think of including graphics, audio, chipset etc.

Make sure all Windows updates are installed.

You have AVG installed, is that correct? At least to test, uninstall it and install MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) instead.
Microsoft Security Essentials - Free Antivirus for Windows

What SSD are you using?

Hi Jaidynm, Thanks for your reply. I'll do as you say in check if this solves the problem.

My SSD is an ADATA XM11 128GB.

Thanks again!!

No worries.

Remember to update your SSD drivers as some are known to cause problems in Windows 7.

I have tested your suggestion and the BSOD stopped. The computer is still rebooting after long suspension time bt now it is not reported as BSOD error, just as if windows wasn't shut down properly.

I have read on a different forum where they suggest I should re install ASUS power management utilities (instant on, power4gear)

I'll try this out and post the results later.

Sure, post back if the BSOD's return. If they do however, you may want to uninstall the ASUS software.
