Solved Asus x452cp Ati HD8530m driver installation problem

Hi guys,

Im neil. I am new here in sevenforums. Guys i want to ask about my new laptop asus x452cp pre installed windows 8 and i tried to downgrade to windows 7. It's work fine. But when i installed the driver for HD8530M my laptop got slower and many application is not responding like chrome, file explorer, etc. And amd driver is not responding to. I think it is complict to intel grapic and ati. I read many things about downgrade windows 8 asus x452c and we have the same problem. And i think it is not compatible the windows 7 to my laptop? And by the way i also read about updating their laptop asus x452 to windows 8.1 and they got the same error about the grapic driver. Sorry for my bad english. Tnx in advance. Im loosing hope. Or i think i back to windows 8. Maybe have no error about drivers. Tnx.

Hi Neil ... Welcome to Seven Forums ... First look under System Information and tell us what Version of BIOS you are using ? ... Then try Installing the Chipset Driver from the Asus Website ...

Thanks mhe maxie to your advice. I already install the recommended drivers on asus website. and there are no compatible for windows 7. all the installer is for windows 8. This is my bios version. American Megatrends Inc. x450cp.209, 3/17/2014.

It will not fix the Problem but if you can Update the Chipset ... Should be able to get the right Driver for the Graphics ..

Windows 8 Drivers should work with Windows 7.

Yes, the graphic driver is compatible and there is no problem about compatibility. I know the true problem now of my laptop. My hardisk have a bad sector. Thats why all of the programs are not reponding. Sorry maxie for wrong info of error. I back my asus laptop to the store for warranty they gonna replace my hardisk and wait for 1 and half months.
