Im having issues with my Atheros Ethernet driver, my computer intermittently crashes when using OpenVPN . I tried two Atheros drivers and got the same result, I will try one more driver. If that does not fix the issue I will most likely get a PCI Ethernet card. I just need a second opinion on the dump file.

Thanks

Hi There,

Looking past the probably caused by,

Code:
BugCheck D1, {0, 2, 0, fffff8800f2cbc9b}

Unable to load image L1C62x64.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for L1C62x64.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for L1C62x64.sys

I see your Nvidia driver being flagged as well,

Code:
Unable to load image nvlddmkm.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
 nvlddmkm+0x19631c

And it is a recent version,

Code:
Loaded symbol image file: nvlddmkm.sys
    Image path: nvlddmkm.sys
    Image name: nvlddmkm.sys
    Timestamp: [COLOR="Red"] Mon May 19 16:08:44 2014[/COLOR] (537A8EFC)

    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

Try using a previous version of the driver,

This is a useful guide as well,

As for the Atheros driver, you appear to be using the latest one from Gigabyte that I could find, not sure where you got the other ones you tried.

Have you tried getting any help on the OpenVPN forum as well?

thanks for the reply, not sure why the nvidia driver is being flagged as well. Could it be because when i get the BSOD. I press enter on the keyboard it takes be back to a frozen desktop, until i manually restart. I got the drivers from the gigabyte website a while ago. I will try and see what happens with older drivers for now.
