Hey guys, Just thought I'd chime in and throw a thoughtful tip out there. If your thinking of purchasing any sort of ATI 4800 Series card, don't expect to over clock it. They seem to be what you see is what you get.
When and if you try, your computer will cease to function correctly until you restart in Safe mode and uninstall the program which you used to over clock it, or B start windows from the boot loader screen on hitting the INS key (this is not proven to work every time).
Catalyst 9.2 has a nice over clocking program which comes with it in the catalyst control center (CCC), but the only remedy to this is when you over clock it too much, and it fails, on your next boot it will go back to the state at which the settings were set before.
Hope this avoids some headaches in the future.
