Ati HD 4830 Freeze after driver install

hi,
i m using hp envy 15 1099, it works perfectly as long as i use win 7 drivers for my video card hd 4830, but whenever i install ati company drivers it freezes my pc every few hours so i stayed with win 7 drivers given to me by update but yesterday i formated my pc and install win 7 ultimate x64 again ( was using same before) but win is not giving me those drivers anymore in update , it just give me ati orginal drivers, and when i use them , my system freeze every few hours, specially if i am playing a game, so i was wondering how can i get those windows drivers, not manufecturers, i have tried downloading latest manufecturer drivers from ati website but same result

Have you tried HP website for the Driver ? Manufacturers tweak their Drivers

Hello Basitq.

Though the latest drivers for your card is v13.1, but these latest drivers have real lots of bugs and thus result in freezes/corruption, but this is not the case for every machine.

Try an older driver. The v12.1 drivers have proved to be the most stable for me for the HD4570 card. Newer drivers creates problems like inability to overclock, graphical corruption, therefore I still use the v12.1 drivers. You try them too.

Make sure that all coolers are properly running. such type of problems occurs due to overheating.
