I have an issue with my audio driver which probably comes from my motherboard's sound card (Asus M5A97 PLUS)
This happens almost everyday. At any time my pc audio and mic just cuts off,if I try to turn it back on by unpluging and pluging back in my headphones or mute and unmute from my audio mixer I get a constant ear screeching static noise.
The only way I can fix it is by switching my audio type from stereo to quadroponic and it is back to normal, but either couple of hours later or the next day the audio will cut off again. The mic just stays dead if it cuts off untill it fixes it's self.

Ocassionaly the whole audio driver will crash, afterwards I would have to restart my pc to fix it,but after I reboot,my audio driver has uninstalled it's self from my pc and I have no sound or mic at all. Then of course I just have to download and install the realtek hd audio driver.Sadly after the sound driver finishes installing and I reboot my pc there still isn't any sound so I just have to repeat the process until the sound is running again. And finally, everything is back to normal no problems same as always, but it's just a matter of time when it will cut off again so the cycle repeats.
(It can't be from my headphones(Razer Tiamat 2.2) because I tested them on a different pc and they were running perfectly)

Is it a problem with my motherboard's sound card?Because I have reinstalled my windows operating system once and this issue still occurs.

Side note:
Don't even try to encourage me to contact my motherboard manufacturer because Asus still hasn't responded to my e-mail witch I sent 2 months ago on the absolute same subject.(With that email I gave them my receipt purchase of the board and it's serial number)

To determine whether its the sound card driver or some other problem, go to the Device Manager, Sound, Video and Game Controllers section. Right click on the entry for the sound card device (Realtek) to highlight it and then LEFT click "Uninstall". Also Uninstall the driver. Restart the PC and when Windows starts it will detect the sound and should install the generic, basic function, High Definition Audio device/driver. Check to see if you have the same problem. If not, install the latest Realtek version.

If you still have the problem with the generic High Definition audio driver then the problem is not the Realtek driver. You can reinstall the Realtek and start looking elsewhere for the problem.

It did not help but thank you anyway I might just take it to a pc service center and see what could be done there
