I have a cyberpower PC connected to my Samsung HDTV 40 inches via HDMI, and only sound that comes out is the computer sound. If I raise the TV volume to say 60. There is a noticeable difference. Yet when I lower my PC volume to 10 and raise the TV volume to 80. There is no difference. It still sounds like it's stuck at 10. This is a new PC, Fairly new TV with new HDMI.

Would love to use my TV as a the PCs main volume so movies aren't so low. As a workaround I usually just use headphones, but it's getting annoying.

The first thing, do you have the correct Video driver for the HDMI audio? If you only have High Definition Audio listed for the driver that is incorrect. Either the driver for the video card or if you have an Intel CPU the Intel drivers would be the first step.
