AVG Internet Security reverts to trial version

I am experiencing an issue with my AVG internet security. I have a license valid until 2018, but my AVG keeps reverting to a 28 day trial quite a bit. Which all I have to do re-enter my s.n. but it is only a matter of time until it reverts into a trial version again. A google search of the issue doesn't show anything, it only brings up pirated trial restters and stuff with one person asking AVG on how to revert avg to a trial. My issue did not come up.

Please help me resolve

I don't use AVG, but a general approach to such an issue might include:

• Verifying that you have a VALID, legal license from a legitimate source
• Cleanly uninstalling AVG (with a removal tool, if available) and then reinstalling with a fresh download
• Verifying that you are entering the correct license information during activation (IOW no typos that substitute letters and numbers, extra spaces, etc.)
• Contacting AVG support via email or company forum (as licensing issues often are not resolvable in general computer forums)
