AVP good game or not?

This game looked cool when i watched the trailers for it but then i saw reviews that pretty much siad it was a let down and was rubbish. i was going to buy it as it is on offer at the mo but not sure now. so i wanted to know whats it like and is the online play good?

the demo was pretty underwhelming in every way so I skipped the game...checking the reviews after the full game was released confirmed what I felt after playing the demo

between the latest terrible movies and the subpar games they are driving the Predator/Alien franchise into the ground imho

My girlfriend played it. She said it was a good game, not played it myself yet.

I enjoyed the Marine segment, but the alien and predator bits were less impressive. As usual these days, lots of attention to graphics but less to gameplay! It was good and creepy at times but a little short. I would say it would be worth a go once it has been discounted to half the release price.


By the way, it's a tough game - I usually play on normal or hard difficulty, but this one I had to do on easy
