Backing Up to an External Harddrive on WN Network

Hi,

I would like to back my computer up to an external harddrive, which is connected to the wireless home network.

I can see the drive in "My Computer", but when trying to select the drive in the Backup Settings, it does not show me that drive as one of the options.

Could anyone please explain if it is possible to set the backup up that way and if so, how?
