I used to only play campaign mode too, but with BFBC2 and BF3 multiplayer is good. And in the write up it said

I've only played BF2 but really want to play BF3 after seeing some screenshots with motorbikes in it. Haven't bought it yet because I wasn't sure if there is a single player mode. If there is one, how good is it?

Try Black OPs 1, You get to ride a motorcycle out of a Russian prison. There is a SP mode for it. You get to fly a Helicopter as well. BF3 has an SP mode as well.

If you like FPS game you will enjoy the campaign - the environment is amazing. It is defiantly worth playing if you are a gamer, and im sure you can get it for a good price now. Just remember if you buy a 2nd hand copy you will not be able to play multiplayer without paying a fee.

In Black Ops II I have played every story at every level at least 3 times. I love the Game and the entire COD series.

What they referred to is larger environments and destruction. More or less not so linear so to say as some campaigns can be.

I think he means that they may be bringing in maps that were not available in SP mode before.

Bigger maps are better as are multiple paths. Squad control, not so much.

I love FPS games! I will definitely buy BF3 and the rest of the COD series (only have WaW).

I don't know. I am just tired of all the modern combat games these days. They all feel like the same thing to me. I stopped playing Call of Duty after Black Ops 1 because I just didn't want to spend the money on any more of the same game. I have played Battlefield since 1942 (the game not the year ) and I just don't think I can muster the strength to buy BF4.

I know it's going to have an awesome campaign because BF3, MoH and CoD have always had a great single player but I just don't want to spend $60 on a 6 hour campaign and then get sucked into another online game where they try and milk more money out of me. I am really just looking for something different.

As far as the Battlefield series goes, you have that backwards. Battlefield games were never about single player and always about the multiplayer.

Pretty much this. EA doesn't care much about the singleplayer aspect. They just care that you're spending money on their multiplayer portion of their games. BF2 was kind of the same...it was so freaking stupid that you couldn't "level up" in the singleplayer aspect of the game, no matter how many games you win. That was a huge disappointment, and EA never changed it simply because they don't give a flying f*ck.
